What makes a reliable and trustworthy business leader?
Focus along with discipline is what makes great business Leaders. They learn to lead, inspire by trust and shift mindsets to make their organisation extraordinary market players
How have you re strategised and adopted to the digital transformations globally?
Before we started building our digital transformation framework, we took a step back to conduct a gap analysis. We assessed our current situation, here covid played a major role in escalating the roadmap, and we modified our business process, culture, and client experiences. Today, we are proud of our business process model and staff consulting.
What are the clear changes that you have made to your journey in the last decade?
When we started our journey a decade back, we worked only on staff consulting services, today we have ventured into various areas of IT Consulting & Business Process. We have grown from a small office to now being stationed in Naperville – USA, San José – Costa Rica & Kolkata – India. The next 5 years, we plan to expand our clientele in Europe, APAC & the Middle East.
What is the current vision and mission at your current role?
To create the most advanced IT Consulting Services Company globally by changing the perception of Outsourcing.
How do you draw a balance between target orientation and empathetic and compassionate leadership?
It’s all about putting trust in the team! We believe in mentoring our employees to become extraordinary professionals. It drives them to work hard and grow with the organization. We have built a management team of compassionate leaders who understand their team and their key skill set, this enables and empowers all the employees to bring about change in work ethics.
What has been your greatest strength and weakness in the context of leadership?
I believe in becoming a part of the group and do my homework, develop talents, motivate change and provide feedback on performance. I treat my weakness in leadership as opportunities to build better work culture in the organization.
What has been your driving force or philosophy in life?
Nothing is easy.Channel your time & energy. Focus on your goals and blur everything out.
How do you plan to drive your business at a global level at your current role?
Perform a deep dive into the services we cater to, swot analysis into our competitors is a mandate. We aspire to create a beachhead team that drive key readiness initiatives while the company hires the right senior management team. We are working on developing a top-down annual budget based on service gap analysis so we can become global drivers of change.
Your top leadership goals during tough times?
In difficult times, we tend to fixate on failures, but with time I learnt to be more adaptable to change. I try to remember that the mission comes first and before me. I point to the problem and communicate effectively. It is important that I be honest with my team about the situation in hand and focus on the end goal. I rely on the team and use the resources wisely.
Your greatest success mantras?
Be Equanimous and Exuberant. Live by intent and forget luck! And always set the gold standard in integrity.
How actively have you been personally involved with corporate social responsibilities? What have you felt driving societal responsibilities?
We are working towards finding the right non-profit organization to work with on the education of underprivileged children.
What’s your vision for the industry and the Indian economy?
India is the powerhouse of global growth & income!Outsourcing Continues its expansion across the globe. New and emerging market for outsourcing have the opportunity to flourish due to digital transformation, remote work, and shifting of outsourcing talent pools from local to global.Historically, India has been a talent powerhouse, and with the improvement of analytics, the Indian economy has advanced at the rate of 6-8% per annum. This has multiplied the tech industry and today, we see India taking a dominant position on the global stage. In another decade, I envision India becoming the global leader in IT consulting.
