Mr Vankayalapati Umesh, born in 1969, is an engineering graduate (Mechanical engineering) from JNTU Hyderabad having more than 20 years of experience in aviation industry. He has sound knowledge and experience in engineering field applications and highly experienced in new facility set-up and management. Mr. Umesh has proven track record of exceeding all production, quality and cost goals. He is also trained and experienced in current quality aviation engineering method.

Umesh Vankayalapati is a phenomenal instigator of the renowned Turbo Aviation Pvt. Ltd, a Hyderabad based Aviation Company incepted on Nov 2003.

Umesh serves as the MD of the company rose from a ground-handling, air charter company to the MD of airlines. With his astute networking skills & the urge for business acumen, he had managed to flourish the Turbo Aviation with firm roots & flying ambitions.

Turbo Megha Airways pvt Ltd (Trujet) was formed under the collaborative thoughts of Vankayalapati Umesh and other investors. The company boasts an authorized share capital of INR 15 crores (INR 150 million) & it is further investing 60-70 Cr (10 million) to expand its services. The company, under the brand name ‘Trujet’ has launched services to Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Vijayawada and Goa with Hyderabad as the centre of its operations, creating monopoly in the respected air-routes thereby enhancing the scope of company expansion & growth.

Though entering the aviation sector in a humble way compared to its immediate peers, ‘Trujet’ has taken a stand to stay away from the pricing war with other regional airlines as it seeks to make a difference by offering a better service experience to the customers.
