Nestled in the scenic Sahyadri Hills off the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Cathedral Vidya School is an affiliate of The Cathedral & John Connon school, Mumbai in the western Indian state of Maharashtra. The admission procedure at Cathedra Vidya School is based on a child’s academic ability and character. Admission at all levels based on entrance is conditional on the availability of the seats, performance at assessments, interviews and track record. The school offers trial admissions to students whereby they get to stay in the school for a while and then decide.

The school has 40 teachers including one PhD holder. The school follows the ICSE Board from the fourth to the seventh grade. The students are prepared for checkpoints from sixth grade onwards and the checkpoints exam is conducted in the eighth grade. From the eighth to the tenth grade, the school follows International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).

The school offers the Geneva-based International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for eleventh and twelfth grades. IBDP is globally recognised for its focus on developing critical thinking among students and exposing them to different cultures and equipping them with skills necessary to achieve success in higher endeavours. It’s a two-year curriculum leading to a diploma which is recognised by all major universities of the world.

The infrastructure has been upgraded with Wi-Fi facility in the campus, smart boards and labs equipped with latest gadgets. The school combines knowledge with technology to enhance the learning experience for its students. Various tasks such as tutorial discussions and workshops are organised by the school.
