Sunil Gutte is the man behind the successful journey of Sunil Hitech Engineers Limited from a private limited to becoming a listed company under BSE and NSE in 2006. An alumnus of MIT- Pune and S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, he has a vision to expand the company beyond the horizon. He is instrumental in diversification of the group into various business segments like construction, real estate, education, sugar and energy etc. He entered the the sector of power and distillery through a state-of-the-art greenfield integrated plant (Gangakhed Sugar and Energy Ltd) in 2010.
This project of about Rs 400 crore worth has been awarded by the Maharashtra state goverment in 2012. It is established in the industrial backward region of Marathwada. Sunil Hitech also entered into manufacturing through its subsidiary Seam Industries Ltd at Butibori, Nagpur in 2008. His dedication, understanding, business and financial skills have over the period of time resulted in tremendous growth of the company. Under his inspiring leadership, the turnover of the organisation doubled from Rs 7,22 crore to Rs 1,580 crore. His constant strive to expand the horizons has led to the company’s entry in the elite group of EPC companies.
He has established an engineering training institute to train the employees before inducting them into the job which is also recognised by the Central Electricity Authority (CEA). The focus to improve has led him impart the ERP system and other project management techniques to further ease the working and connectivity at various project sites. Along with the leadership role of the company, he is a corporate member of Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and corporate associated member of Associated Chamber Of Commerce And Industry (ASSOCHAM).
His philosophy to create a better future by doing the small things and making a difference is the core driving force of the CSR initiatives taken by the company. A philanthropist at heart, he believes in inclusive growth. Under his able guidance, education and health services receive special attention.
