With Alma maters like SRCC and FMS, experience in the field of manufacturing , and technological knowhow gained from the very best in the world under his belt Rajesh Kumar Bansal , charged with a vision to create brand that was a reflection of his vision, established Mars Industries Private Limited in 1995.

He is the chief promoter of the company and with an initial investment of Indian Rupees 5o (Fifty Million) to start production and in1996 the first batch of Dorset door handles and locks was produced in the manufacturing facilities constructed at that time. His mission of providing india with Architectural Hardware and locking systems that were at par with the best in the world led him to bring technical tie-up with two leading Italian Companies and the establishment of an integrated R & D facility early on in the journey. He thereafter in the year 2007 entered into a joint venture with leading Security products manufacturing company from Switzerland Kaba AG, providing his brand name Dorset with a leeway into the latest technology in the security systems market.

Today Dorset with an annual turnover of over a INR 1,200 million and a brand name that has become synonymous with ‘’security, trust, innovation and integrity’’, his mantras for success. After the completion of his goal of providing the growing Indianmarket with quality architectural products and locking systems at affordable prices Bansal expanded the brand name to cover full range of Sanitary fittings with wide range of C.P. Fitting, and other allied products as well. His vision integrating various hardware and bathroom fittings needs under one brand name that the consumer can trust is sure to yield returns.
