PRIDE OF INDIA

Concept

A few people stand out in a multitude; a few good people make a nation. The country considers them as jewels, human beings who went to extraordinary lengths to make the country what it is today. WCRC Life, a division of WCR Media Pvt Ltd, is proud to highlight the contributions of 100 such people from Delhi and Mumbai as a part of its ‘Pride of India’ series.

‘Pride of India’ is a series to honour those living legends, and upcoming men and women, who either have left a permanent mark or are in the process of creating a lasting impression in the fields of sports, business, entertainment, social change, literature and the arts. It is India’s first and only general interest awards saluting highest level of achievement that would cover different cities of India to reward the extraordinary work and accomplishments of individuals from different genres.

The first awards of this series will take place in Mumbai, wherein accomplished individuals from Maharashtra will be awarded for their meritorious and note-worthy contribution to the nation. This ceremony will take pace in November 2014

The next phase will be held in New Delhi in January 2015 wherein accomplished individuals from Delhi will be honoured for their contribution in making Delhi a brand in the national and global platform
