Nasution bin Mohamed
Nasution joined Maxis in January, 2011 and was appointed as chief financial officer on April 15, 2011. He was subsequently redesignated as chief financial and strategy officer in November 2013. Prior to joining Maxis, Nasution was the managing director – CEO of Penerbangan Malaysia Berhad (PMB). Prior to PMB, he was an executive director at UDA Holdings Berhad.He served as an executive director of UDA Holdings Berhad from May 26, 2005 to August 23, 2005. Nasution started his career with KPMG in Australia and subsequently joined the Corporate Finance Division of Amanah Merchant Bank Berhad.
Nasution holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of New South Wales, Australia in 1993 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA). He plays a role of partnering the business in understanding the relative economics of different parts of the operations and integrating resources across business functions to deliver performance across Maxis. Concurrently, he is responsible for financial reporting, governance and compliance, corporate finance, treasury, procurement, regulatory, administration and facilities.
