With a fantastic sense of wonder within the world being created the movie took off a good start in India and has struck gold at the box office. With the super word of mouth is translating into box office collections, the film has earned a total of Rs. 23.60 cr, in just two days.
After 2 weeks Jungle Book also became the highest grossing hollywood movie in India beating Furious 7. Out of this 46% of Total has come from english version while 54% has come from dubbed versions of the movie in all languages.
With an approximate Total of 160.13 Crores in nett Trade Figure (All Languages) and 170.95 Crore nett Producer Figure (All Languages), India is now the fourth biggest market for Jungle Book after US , China and UK.
