It is a testimony of the brand’s success and an endorsement of being with the best and acknowledgement of the brand’s value, strength and character.
The fastest growing brands are acknowledged for their achievements and recognized as the elite of their industry earning a place amongst a distinguished group by having their products, projects, initiatives, contributions and achievements recognized on a prominent and far-reaching scale.

WCRC conducted an in depth research to list the Fast 50 Brands 2016, India’s talkingpoint brands which have shown tremendous promise and growth over the past few years and have been able to create a huge impact on the minds of consumers. Fast 50 Brands, is a brand listing which represents the most credible, transparent and differentiated standard of brand research. The research has been conducted through rigorous research parameters involving secondary as well as primary research. It represents the very best that the world of branding has to offer signifying the success of the winning brands and the pursuit of brand excellence.

Phase 1
The first phase of the research was initiated by generating a list of categories (to be covered under the purview of the survey).
A list of about 250 brands across 9 industries and sub categories was drawn up through secondary research driven by WCRC research team.

• Category-specific brand reports
• Brand-specific scrutiny

The list of the 9 industries covered under the purview of the study is as follows:
• Automobiles
• Agro Chemicals
• Appliances and Electronics
• Education
• Healthcare
• Infrastructure
• Lifestyle
• Services
The preliminary list of 250 brands generated in Fast50 Brands was scrutinized and graded on the scale of 1-10 (where 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest) by the editorial team to generate a list of top 100 brands based on the following parameters:
• Brand Trust
• Growth
• Brand Promise
• Brand Impact
• Innovation
• In-company audit questionnaires

Phase 3
Jury and editorial scrutiny questionnaire:
The list of the top 100 brands was then further be scrutinized by the jury and the editorial team. The brands were rated on the parameters of brand recall, brand impact and brand trust on the scale of 1 to 10 ((where 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest)

Final Phase and Listing of Top 50 Brands
The final phase of the research then entailed the analysis of jury and editorial questionnaires ratings based on the above mentioned parameters and weight-ages assigned below by the WCRC research team:

50% weight-age was given to WCRC team brand scrutiny. 50% weight-age was given to Jury Questionnaires.
The 50 fastest growing brand list was based on the cumulative scores received from both the jury and the editorial team.
