Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha Dr Bhanuben Nanavati College, established by Prof. Anurag Kashyap, is an architectural institute in Pune. It has outstanding worldwide connection and strives at the holistic development of world-class women designers and architects. Affiliated to University of Pune, MASA, DTE and Council of Architecture (COA), it offers undergraduate programmes in architecture, bachelor’s programme and postgraduate programmes in three disciplines viz environmental, landscaping and digital. The line of course extends with diploma and short term courses correlated to the field of architecture like computer-aided programme in interior design (CAID), garden horticulture, digital architecture, garden design and environmental architecture. The institute is gifted with a host of faculties holding doctorates. The BNCA International Cell is a strong forte of the institution. BNCA is now a partner member enlisted in the UNITED NATIONS EDUCATIONAL IMPACT PROGRAMME (U.N.E.I.P).
The institute is spread across an area of 26 acres in the lap of nature and comprise 30,000 square feet of floor area on four floors including campus hostel, library, computer studios with advance networking system from CISCO, carpentry workshop, hobby workshop, seminar hall, and an HP graphics work station. The central library stocks more than 8,500 books, periodicals, national and international journals and CD-ROMS. Students on campus also get access to a wide range of online journals and database resources. The college also provides ample of sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games.
