A seasoned professional, with more than two decades of cross-functional and multi-cultural experience in marketing, sales and product management; across diverse product categories, ranging from Consumer Durables to Automobiles.
Initial phase of his career has been in Sales & Channel Management, and latter years have been in Marketing & Product Management. Present experience has been in Marketing of Business Units, with challenging top-line, market-share, and brand-equity mandates.
Deba has had a long and productive experience at Shriram Honda, LG Electronics, Honda, and Hero Group. Presently he heads Marketing, Key Accounts and Modern Retail at Voltas (UPBG), a leading consumer durable brand within the Tata group.
Voltas has been a resurgent brand in the consumer durable space, which now leads the Room Air Conditioners category, both in terms of Market Share and Brand Equity. Deba holds a Masters in Business, from International Management Institute, IMI, New Delhi.
