The Colombo International Nautical and Engineering College was established in 1990 to provide quality education in the fields of Maritime, Engineering, Technology, Logistics, Management and Information Technology matching with world class excellence in education and training.
It is Sri Lanka’s largest private Higher Education organization, situated in the picturesque suburbs of Malabe in close proximity to Sri Jayawardanapura, the administrative capital of Sri Lanka.
CINEC Maritime Campus is established on a firm foundation based on four internationally accredited Quality Management Systems: ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System Standard, ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System Standard, OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health & Safety Management System Standard and DNV Standard for certification of Maritime Academies No. 3.401; which ensure that our students are served with a sense of professionalism and care.
Under graduate and Post graduate courses offered to students by this institute is affiliated to legendary universities like University of South Australia, Dalian Maritime university of China and University of Wolverhampton. The academic rigidity at the institute is complemented by various extra-curricular opportunities for the students.
Different student clubs and bodies operate round the year, adding color and vibrancy to the campus.
The central library on campus is well stocked with a wide range of titles and journals, it also provides students access to various e-journals and database through online search and indexing facilities.
