Aniel Kumar Saha, chairman, SAHA Groupe, ventured out into architecture before establishing himself as one of the National Capital Region’s (Delhi-NCR) leading real estate developers.
In 1980s, while studying the ins and outs of Architectural Study, he started to work at an architecture firm to gain knowledge of the nuances of the business as well as to meet his daily expenses.
Recalling those days, Saha says, “I used to think, after passing architecture, if I get an opportunity, I would set up my own practice and implement my ideas & designs.”
It was around 1989 when after saving some money, he decided to buy a plot of land. He created a home that was both modern and practical in design. It was something he always wished for and therefore, his dream house eventually became his first real estate showcase project.
With positive turn of events, Saha’s first big break came in 1997. He along with his two friends decided to endeavour into the group housing space as ATS developer. It was the first developer in noida and won 1st tender from Noida Authority.
Saha has been involved with the real estate development of Noida since its inception in 1981.
Saha won accolades for the project and hogged the attention of both the buyers’ as well as the real estate fraternity. Subsequent to ATS, Saha felt that there was a large section of consumers who were willing to pay a premium for the finest, quality residential projects.
Two decades later when SAHA Groupe was formally established, as the Groupe’s name bearer, Saha penned down the brand’s unique selling proposition in exactly three expressions– passion, vision and innovation. Besides being the positioning statement, these words personified the company’s founding philosophy of innovation and transparency.
Since then, there has been no looking back for him as Saha went on to complete five major projects—ATS Greens I, ATS Greens II, ATS Village, ATS Greens Paradiso Phase-I and The Meghdutam.
With an ode to luxury and high-end living, Saha launched one of the most ambitious real estate projects of NCR. ‘Amadeus’, as Saha describes, has been designed to meet the needs of those discerning few who love to indulge in luxury.
Believing in the philosophy of ‘no compromise in quality’, Saha is a man of ‘unquenchable curiosity’ and ‘inventive imagination.’
Strict adherence to timelines has been his sacrosanct policy and under his leadership, the organisation continues to deliver more than what it promises. He has always believed in raising the bar when it comes to ethics, practices and policy in the realty space.
Having successfully juggled the roles of architect and builder, Saha now intends to venture into infrastructure development beyond Delhi and NCR.
