Ajay joined GCPL in June, 2013 and leads the Household insecticide business. He is responsible for formulating the business strategy, new product pipeline and delivering profitable growth on the portfolio. He is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad).

Ajay has 18 years of work experience in sales, marketing and business assignments with a diverse set of challenges and business drivers. He has had rich exposure across sectors from FMCG, Consumer Finance to Media. He has worked with Nestle, Colgate Palmolive, Godrej Saralee, General Electric and HT Media before joining Godrej.

This is Ajay’s second stint with Godrej and the Household insecticide category. In his past stints he has been part of General Electric’s premier global sales & marketing leadership cadre. He also led Hindustan Times Mumbai’s rapid readership growth, and business turnaround through ground breaking initiatives like No TV Day.

Ajay has a proven record of delivering strong business results in tough competitive markets through strategic thinking, strong execution focus and innovation.
